Fight Dreams published by Playscripts, Inc.

My Ten-Minute play “Fight Dreams” was just officially published in the anthology Great Short Comedies: Volume III by Playscripts, Inc.

I wrote “Fight Dreams” while working and studying at Ensemble Studio Theatre back in 2001, and it premiered there that year. In 2003 Vintage Books published the play in Take Ten II: More Ten-Minute Plays, which led to its being performed at many theaters and universities around the country ever since. (One team even made it into a musical for a workshop in New York.)

Playscripts.com has administered the rights to “Fight Dreams” for about a year now, and it’s been great because they handle the permissions and royalties online. That’s a big convenience for producers, and people have been using it. Now that the paper edition is out I can’t wait to read the other plays and see what else happens.
